Social media management tools for agencies in 2027

We compared seven tools that agencies use to schedule client posts and get them approved, and ReBrandOS is one of them. Every price and AI feature below comes from each company’s own website, checked in November 2026.

  • 3-day free trial, card required
  • Cancel before it ends and pay nothing
  • Plans from $24/mo billed annually
  • We list the seven tools in alphabetical order and don’t rank them
  • Each fact about another company links to the page where we read it

Four things to check when you choose a tool for 2027

  1. Work out the price for the number of clients you expect to have at the end of 2027. These tools charge by different units: per workspace, per channel, per user, or a flat fee for a pool of profiles or brands. A tool that’s cheap for three clients can cost a lot more at fifteen.
  2. Find out who approves posts on the client side, and if they need an account to do it. A lot of tools offer approval workflows, but some put client approval on their higher plans only.
  3. If your team already writes in ChatGPT or Claude, check for an MCP server or connector. With one, your AI assistant creates drafts in the tool directly. Each company includes it on a different plan, so check which plan you’d need.
  4. List the networks you publish to for each client. Some of these tools publish to Google Business Profile, Bluesky, and Reddit, and others don’t. Two of them charge extra for publishing to X.

ReBrandOS is our product, so we have a stake in this comparison. That’s why the tools are in alphabetical order, and why every fact about another company links to the page on its own website where we read it. If a fact has changed since we checked it, email hello@rebrandos.com and we’ll correct the page.

The seven tools, in alphabetical order

Agorapulse

Good for: Teams that want a 30-day trial and an MCP connector at no extra cost. Agorapulse charges per user, and each plan includes 10 social profiles, so the total depends on the size of your team and on how many profiles you add.

Pricing
Per user. Standard $99, Professional $149, and Advanced $199 per user a month, or $79, $119, and $149 billed annually. Each of these plans includes 10 social profiles, and you can add more. Custom is priced on request. Source
Users
Priced per user, so each person on your team adds to the bill. Source
Approvals
Simple approval workflows that route content to teammates or clients for one-step approval, and multi-step approval chains with several reviewers. Agorapulse marks the plans that include each one on its pricing page. Source
AI and MCP
An MCP connector for ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, which Agorapulse says is free for all its users. Agorapulse also says an agent using it never publishes a post on the spot. Source
Networks
Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business, TikTok, Bluesky, and Reddit. Publishing to X is an add-on, priced on request. Source
Trying it
30 days free, with no card required. Source

Buffer

Good for: People and teams who want to pay per channel or start on a free plan. Buffer also publishes to Bluesky, Mastodon, and Google Business Profile.

Pricing
Per channel, “rather than per brand or per client”. Essentials $6 and Team $12 per channel a month for the first 10 channels, or $5 and $10 billed yearly. On Team, channels 11 to 25 cost $4 a month each, 26 to 50 cost $3, and from 51 they cost $2. Source
Users
Unlimited users on Team, and 1 user on Free and Essentials. Source
Approvals
Approvals are on the Team plan only. A team member with the “Needs Approval” role saves drafts, and the account owner or a Full Access member approves them. Source
AI and MCP
An official MCP server, included on every plan, the free plan too. The API and the AI Assistant are also on every plan. Source
Networks
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon, and Substack. Source
Trying it
A free plan for up to 3 channels and 1 user, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans. Source

Planable

Good for: Teams that want a shared content calendar priced per workspace, with unlimited users. Planable adds approval levels on its higher plans, and it publishes to Google Business Profile.

Pricing
Per workspace, and Planable describes a workspace as the space for one client, brand, or location. Basic $39 and Pro $59 per workspace a month, or $33 and $49 billed annually. Basic includes 4 social pages and 60 posts a month per workspace, and Pro includes 10 pages and 150 posts. Enterprise has custom pricing. Source
Users
Unlimited users on every plan. Source
Approvals
Optional approval on Basic, required approval on Pro, and multi-level approval on Enterprise. Clients can view posts and leave feedback through a guest link, without creating an account. Source

Networks
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, and Threads. On Basic, you can publish 1 post to X every 24 hours. Source
Trying it
Your first 50 posts are free, with no time limit and no card. Publishing to X isn’t available during the trial. Source

ReBrandOS

Good for: Agencies and freelancers who already write in ChatGPT or Claude. Your AI reads each client’s brand book through the ReBrandOS connector and drafts from it, and clients approve posts from a link without an account. One price covers up to 5 or 15 client brands.

Not a fit: ReBrandOS isn’t the right choice if you publish to Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon, or Reddit, or to LinkedIn company pages, because it doesn’t publish to them. It doesn’t have a free plan either. It’s built for teams that write with ChatGPT or Claude, so if your team uses neither, a tool with its own AI writer will suit you better.

Pricing
A flat monthly price set by the number of client brands: 1 on Agent, up to 5 on Agency 5, and up to 15 on Agency 15. Agent $29, Agency 5 $99, and Agency 15 $199 a month, or $24, $82, and $166 a month billed annually. Enterprise: custom.
Users
Unlimited seats on Agent, Agency 5, and Agency 15, with no per-seat pricing.
Approvals
Clients approve, ask for changes, or reject each post from a link, without an account. ReBrandOS doesn’t publish a post until it’s approved.
AI and MCP
You use ReBrandOS inside ChatGPT and Claude through its MCP connector. Your AI reads each client’s brand book through the connector and drafts posts from it.
Networks
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn (personal profiles), Threads, Pinterest, and X.
Trying it
3-day free trial on Agent, Agency 5, and Agency 15, with a card required. If you cancel before the trial ends, you aren’t charged.

Sendible

Good for: Agencies that want unlimited users and a plan sized by workspaces, with a white-label add-on on the Elite and Enterprise plans.

Pricing
A flat monthly price by number of workspaces, with 6 social profiles in each workspace. Core $35 (1 workspace), Plus $99 (3), Premium $199 (7), Elite $299 (15), and Enterprise $750 (50) a month. Billed yearly, Core to Elite cost $30, $84, $169, and $254 a month. Source
Users
Unlimited users on every plan. Source
Approvals
Sendible lists assignment and approvals on the Plus plan. Client users get their own dashboards, where they preview and approve content. Source

Trying it
14-day free trial, with no card required. Source

SocialPilot

Good for: Agencies that want a low starting price and white-label reports. Client approval and client seats are on the Premium plan and up.

Pricing
A flat price per plan, with a set number of social accounts. Essentials $20 (5 accounts), Standard $40 (10), Premium $100 (20), and Ultimate $200 (40) a month, or $17, $34, $85, and $170 a month billed annually. Extra accounts cost $4 a month each. Enterprise is priced on request. Source

Pricing
A flat plan fee for a pool of social profiles and users. Professional $99 (15 profiles), Advanced $199 (30), and Scale $449 (70) a month, or $950, $1,910, and $4,310 billed yearly. Enterprise has custom pricing. Source
